Our Commitment to Reliability: 1-Year Standard Warranty

Every Cabin Cool M100 includes a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty. This coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions.

We engineered the M100 for a 10-year service life, or approximately 20,000 operating hours. If a covered defect surfaces within the first year of service, we will repair or replace your Cabin Cool AC unit at no charge.

General Use and Installation Guidelines

Proper installation and use support performance and preserve warranty eligibility. The Cabin Cool M100 is a 24V system and can be used on 12V or 48V equipment with voltage converters. Confirm that your equipment’s electrical system supports this load before you mount the unit.

Follow these general use and installation tips:

  • Secure the unit from the top or bottom using the included brackets and weld nuts.
  • The unit must be installed level-oriented with the bottom side down.
  • If possible, the unit should be installed within the equipment’s footprint to reduce the risk of the unit getting hit or damaged.
  • Rigid support to the front is required, which can be achieved with rails or brackets.
  • Position the flexible hoses for direct operator cooling without obstructing lines of sight.

Blocked ventilation openings reduce efficiency and can cause overheating. Faulty electrical connections may damage the internal components and void your warranty coverage.

Troubleshooting and Filter Maintenance

The Cabin Cool M100 system requires minimal ongoing service, just regular cleaning or replacement of the reusable, washable air filter. Follow these steps for proper filter cleaning:

  1. Remove the filter covering the face of the condenser/evaporator coil.
  2. Wash the filter with warm water.
  3. Shake off the excess water.
  4. Inspect and clean the face of the coil.
  5. Reinstall the filter, and replace the duct collar.

Your specific operating environment determines how often you should clean the filter. Dusty, high-traffic areas may need more frequent filter cleaning or replacement. Check the filter weekly during initial use to establish a baseline interval for your fleet.

Here are some troubleshooting tips for common maintenance needs:

  • Unit fails to power on. Check electrical connections, verify voltage at the power supply, and inspect fuses for continuity.
  • Cooling performance drops. Inspect and clean the filter, then verify the mounting position and check for blocked airflow paths.
  • Airflow reduces. Inspect and clean the filter, then check for blockages or vent obstructions.

Most problems are resolved through these basic steps. Persistent issues after troubleshooting should be addressed by a certified maintenance partner or professional warranty service from Cabin Cool.

Filing a Warranty Claim

Contact our support team with your serial number, purchase date, and a description of the issue. We will verify your warranty status and walk through troubleshooting steps that might resolve the problem immediately.

If your unit requires factory service, we will issue a return authorization with shipping instructions. Use original packaging to prevent transit damage. We assess each returned unit to either conduct repairs or provide a replacement. Most claims are processed within 5–7 business days after our facility receives the unit.

Coverage Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or misuse. Water damage, physical impacts, and operation outside recommended parameters fall beyond our standard coverage. Normal maintenance items, such as filters, remain the responsibility of the owner.
